After the worldwide disaster of the Corona Pandemic, a new virus has appeared in China named Hantavirus. The research says it is more harmful than the coronavirus and its mortality rate is 38%.
What is Hantavirus?
Hantavirus is one of the families of viruses that spreads through rats (rodents). It is a severe disease that is mostly found in Europe and Asia. This infection is caused by an infected rodent that enters your body by breathing, dust saliva, ingesting food, water, and through eyes. As Coronavirus causes flu while attacking similarly this virus also causes flu and it is much critical that you may be lost life.
Its first case has seen in 1993 in the southwestern United States, A young man facing shortness of breath and then admitted to the hospital in Mexico. But unfortunately, the young man died rapidly because it attacks the main part of the human body that is the respiratory system.
As this virus causes acute respiratory failure so more young men also died due to its attack.

Recently, a person has died due to Hantavirus in China. According to their national newspaper Global Times, a guy from Yunnan province died. They also said that 32 people have also got positive tests.

What are the symptoms of Hantavirus?
The symptoms of Hantavirus Pulmonary Diseases (HPS) and COVID-19 are the same. Following are the lines:
- The person suffers breathing difficulties and a dry cough
- Headache, chills, body aches, and fever higher than 1010 F
- The patient faces abdominal pain, vomiting, and nausea

There is no cure has found that can defeat this harmful virus but you may follow safety precautions to keep yourself safe and healthy. The person who got Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome must need to do oxygen therapy, fluid replacement, blood medications, and kidney dialysis because using these methods the chances of getting recovery increases.
As we again repeat that there is no vaccine has manufactured that can treat this disease. You can only save yourself from this virus by following the safety measures.
- Eliminate your contact with rodents in home, office, or anywhere you live
- Wear a mask and wash your hands properly
- You have to cover all the wholes and places where the rodents live
- Use rodenticides at home to kill these rodents

The early symptoms of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome are fly, aches in muscles, and high fever. As the virus attacks on your platelets in the blood so a doctor can detect the HPS by calculating platelet count. It also causes high blood pressure levels, dizziness, and fatigue.
